In the world of today, there is a power hungry struggle that
makes people turn on each other and do what they think is best for themselves
with complete disregard of others. This is seen throughout many mediums as is
the case with leaders. Power corrupts all and rarely do we get to see someone
who uses that influence for good instead of bad. The blame game is something
that affects those in power. A person at the highest point in his term does not
want his image tarnished. It could either be to keep his post for himself or to
etch a memory into the people’s hearts about what a great leader he was. Thus,
blaming others for their own failures is a great distraction to let the general
community know that they are as great as ever while others let them down.
Terrorism is something that is frowned upon by all no matter
where they are. Putting people’s lives at risk and causing harm to them is in
the same boat but as for enemies or lords who want to change the world, remains
an effective method to get what they want. Sadly for those who wish for world
peace, terrorism and extremist activities are at an all-time high with linking
terror attacks on Islamic states labelling them with slurs such as radical
Islam. What started in Syria and Israel against USA has now turned into an
all-out war between the oppressed and the oppressors. Forces with less powers
use such methods to draw out higher powers and then take over. Middle Eastern
countries tried this method with USA and failed. Now through the reaches of
Afghanistan, Pakistan is being targeted.
While still being a country that hosts more than a million
refugees from panic stricken Afghanistan and does all to promote its
relationship with its neighbor, it still get targeted by many as being a host
nation to terrorist forces. Especially, if the case is of Pakistan’s bitter
rival India, using means such as social media to deface Pakistan is something
that is now growing each and every day. Claims without proper evidence is
making life harder for Pakistan to maintain peace inside their country and more
and more people are falling victim to the real tyranny makers. India on the
other hand have no shortage of internal problems and yet stay focused on
propagating against Pakistan especially when terrorism is concerned. The funny
thing about this is that when an attack takes place in Pakistan, India states
and debunks Pakistani Terrorists and when the same happens in India, still they
blame Pakistan. Recently, the fake currency notes present in large numbers were
revealed only to be labelled as a Pakistani plot later on by Indian Prime
Minister Narendra Modi.
One such Pakistani Organization namely ISI (Inter-Services
Intelligence) has been branded by Indian Journalists as the root cause of all
terrorism. The only proof that they could provide was that ISI communicated
with the so called cells of the external forces. Ex CIA Director and US Army
Chief David Petraeus has also lashed out against these journalists for
increasing propaganda against the Pakistani Organization stating that in this
line of work, we need to be aware of the enemy’s next move so a proper channel
is established. He also stated that it was part of the job to be in touch and
Pakistan were doing it quite nicely with respect to their National Action Plan.
Referring to what the ex CIA director said, it is imperative that a contact is
set up to avoid any further incidents that might harm the community. Finding
out links is part of the overall struggle that takes place in the career of an
intelligence agency.
Not only is this a wakeup call for all those journalists and
reporters who has stated Pakistan and its organizations to be involved in
terror activities. But it is a slap on the faces of the enemies of Pakistan
especially India who seem to have lost their main propaganda at the hands of
the Ex Us army chief and his statement in support of Pakistan’s ISI. Now they
have to come up with more rumors to throw Pakistan’s name in the dirt and using
such tactics to promote themselves in the eyes of the world.
